On-site depth, online continuity
HarmonyCode is built for on-site intensity first — studios and labs where sustained practice, critique, and mentorship can happen — with the learning portal carrying continuity between intensives. We are raising an initial $1.3 million to fund the operating reality of that model: contact hours, faculty and facilitator capacity, assessment infrastructure, and proof of outcomes.
- Volume & depth of work — Sustained studio and lab hours, hard feedback, and mandatory revision cycles across a full 36-week arc (four nine-week blocks), not a thin video course.
- Assessment integrity — Shared rubrics, calibrated grading, clear plagiarism and AI-use policies, external critique (including industry guests), and standards learners and partners can verify.
- Live teaching & mentorship — Conservatory-style studio and performance culture together with engineering-style problem sets, proofs, and research discipline — with real faculty time, teaching assistants, and cohort norms to match.
- Facilitator capability — Trained facilitators backed by manuals, observation, and coaching so every cohort hears a consistent HarmonyCode standard.
- Proof — Portfolios, certifications where appropriate, placements, competitions, publications, and partner validation that funders and families can respect.
